You can do so by setting some field in the data, say "color" and specifying which data field holds fill color: graph.
The dark mode beta is finally here. Change your preferences any time. Stack Overflow for Teams is a private, secure spot for you and your coworkers to find and share information. I have written some code in amcharts. From my code, there are four options I can pass as data for the stacked bar chart: 1. The first view that an user of this 'dashboard' would see is the year-wise trends broken down by continents. This is the page that's renders when you open the jsfiddle link.
How do I make this interactive? Let's start with the first view. When the user single-clicks on the first column data for yearor second column data for yearor third column data for yearI want the selected column to be highlighted in Grey. Something like this.
My hope is that this can be set by setting the fillColors attribute of the graph object in the function. But how? Next, when the user double-clicks on the selected column, the user should be able to drill-down to a new stacked bar chart which shows category breakdown but trending over Quarters of the selected year.
So, let's say the user selected year When they single-clicked, it turned grey. After single-clicking or before single-clicking, if they double-click the year column, a new stacked bar chart is loaded with an additional button on top to go back to the previous chart. Once this, is done user should be able to click on the top button to go back from there to the old chart into this view.
So the user saw year-wise view and quarter-wise view. But, now they want to select only one category Asia-Pacific region of year and see some other data specific to that.GitHub is home to over 40 million developers working together to host and review code, manage projects, and build software together.

How to Make Serial Chart With JSON Data Using amChart
Contact amCharts. Found a bug?For now the focus of amCharts is on rich, interactive charts, stock charts and maps that can easily be embedded in websites. Founded by Antanas Marcelionis more than years ago, amCharts started out as a digital pin-map, and has grown to include pie, line, column and bar charts - among others - managed by a distributed team of 13 people, including two cartography specialists.
Antanas Marcelionis is still the lead programmer, while Martynas Majeris, as CTO, manages both development and product design. They pride themselves on their "by choice" compactness, agility and ability to offer a superior technical support experience, with no plans to change any of this, while continuing to offer a great product for anyone needing to create rich, interactive charts and maps.
Although amCharts was first created with developers in mind, Antanas soon realised there was a need to make the tool accessible to non-developers.
Not all users were comfortable using CSV and JSON - the standard formats for data sources in amCharts - so the team had to find a solution that would make amCharts more intuitive for all users. The tool most frequently used to manage data, across a broad segment of users, is Excel, so it would make sense for users to be able to add and manage data by way of an interface that felt familiar.
The Live Editor makes it possible for users to enter and manage data for their charts and maps using an interface not unlike that of Excel, with very little technical skills required of users other than knowledge of commonly used spreadsheet tools. The amCharts team realised it would make more sense to incorporate an existing solution to accomplish what they wanted from the Live Editor, rather than altering their existing development path to build their own solution, and Handsontable was this solution.
With Handsontable, the amCharts team were able to add an Excel-like interface to their Live Editor much faster than if they had developed it themselves. Since its introduction, Live Editor has become the primary starting point for all users wanting to create a chart or map quickly, even for users familiar with CSV and JSON. Not only does the Live Editor reduce the amount of time needed to create a new chart, it also helps to avoid the pitfalls of mistakes in your code.
Martynas states that it is the flexibility of Handsontable that has led the amCharts team to look at incorporating it in future consumer-oriented products, even as development of amCharts continues at a breakneck pace.
In alone they enhanced the accessibility features of amCharts, introduced an official React component and launched a multilingual plugin for WordPress, along with a slew of other enhancements and features. Introduction amCharts is a set of data visualisation programming libraries and tools, created with developers in mind. Our serial chart is so powerful that it deserves to be called super-chart. It can display column, bar, line, area, step line, smoothed line, candlestick and ohlc graphs. With a single "rotate" property set to true your column chart will become bar chart where series are drawn on vertical axis. Chart supports multiple value axes also logarithmic and reversed. Users can zoom-in, pan the chart, add guides both to value and category axes. Both serial and XY charts support trend lines. Both serial and xy charts can be zoomed-in and scrolled.
Have you seen zoomable xy chart at any of our competitors?
We guess no. Or serial chart can display advanced scrollbar with a graph in it.
The beginning of amCharts and amMap was inwhen the first version of amMap was made. Antanas Marcelionis worked as a manager in a web development company and, being a fan of maps and traveling, wanted to have a tool which would work like a pin-map for him.
So he did this tool in his free time. With the help of some friends he deepened his programming knowledge programming was only a hobby since he knew Basic on famous Sinclair ZX Spectrumand one day he decided to make a pie chart. It took several months to release first version of pie chart. The first chart was featured in several articles and people started using it.
Many world famous companies recognized amCharts as the best charting solution. Martynas Majeris does most of support and customizations for clients with specific needs and helps implementing amCharts and amMap for them.
